IIMCIP-TIC Lights Up tech innovation at NIT

Continuing its innovation journey , IIMCIP-TIC successfully conducted the Build Club Kickstart Workshop at Narula Institute of Technology on April 3–4, 2025. Over 85 students participated in this engaging two-day session, diving deep into the world of tech innovation and entrepreneurship.

The workshop was led by Sankha Ray (Manager, IIMCIP-TIC) along with resource persons Shekhar Chaliha (Associate, IIMCIP-TIC), Vivekanandan M and Mahesh S. from ITEL Foundation, the workshop offered students valuable hands-on training in AI, IoT, Image Processing, and more. Principal, Dr. Sourav Saha, Dean R&D, Dr. Bikash Mondal, Dept. of Electronics & Computer Science, Dr. Susmita Das, Dept. of Electronics & Computer Science, Dr. Shambhu Nath Saha, Dean Student Affairs. A highlight of the workshop was the student product showcase, where young innovators showcased their tech-based innovations.

With each workshop, IIMCIP-TIC continues to empower future changemakers with skills, guidance and platforms to build scalable tech innovation .
