Expanding its mission towards building a thriving innovation ecosystem across Eastern India, the IIMCIP (IIMCIP-TIC) conducted its fourth Build Club Workshop at JIS College of Engineering, Kalyani (Kolkata) on 01-02 April, 2025. The twodaysworkshop engaged more than 70 students who gained hands-on learning focusing on emerging technologies and real-world problem solving.
The sessions were led by Mr. Sankha Ray, Manager at IIMCIP-TIC, with support from Mr. Shekhar Chaliha, Associate at IIMCIP-TIC. Resource persons Mr. Vivekanandan M and Mr. Mahesh S from the ITEL Foundation gave in-depth trainingon Artificial Intelligence, Image Processing, IoT and moreequipping students with practical experience in key areas of tech innovation.

Theacademic leaders played an instrumental role in guiding students through the purpose and objectives of the Build Club, while enlightening them on innovative thinking, team collaborationand product development strategies.
With multiple successful workshops IIMCIP-TIC is expanding its footprint across Assam, Meghalaya, and West Bengal. Through these initiatives, IIMCIP-TIC remains committed to empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs and changemakers by providing the tools, training and mentorship needed to drive impactful tech-based solutions.
