At IIMCIP-TIC, we focus on enabling the adoption of emerging technologies while promoting rural wealth creation. Our mission is rooted in building scalable, locally-driven innovations that contribute to balanced regional development.
India is poised to become a $9 trillion economy by 2030 but regional disparities remain a challenge. While Western, Central and Southern states have seen rapid economic growth, the Eastern and North Eastern regions contribute only around 20% to the national GDP. IIMCIP-TIC envisions to address this imbalance by fostering technology-led entrepreneurship and innovation in East and North East India.
IIMCIP-TIC is currently providing hands-on learning experiences to students across various universities through its Build Clubs. Build Clubs are student-led tech hobby clubs established in colleges to spark curiosity and hands-on innovation. These clubs encourage students to explore, design and build real-world projects using electronic components, thus familiarizing the youth with core technology components and building the next generation of makers and tech innovators.
